A little more about me…
I’m a from Mumbai, INDIA.
I grew up in South Mumbai and did my education from one of the most prestigious school (Greenlawns – Worli) and college (H.R. – Churchgate).
During my college days, I got drawn to animation and did my basic course from Compufield. At that time it was the only training institute offering a basic computer art course. But nonetheless, my fate was happily sealed! It got me hooked into animation!
I then trained with for 6 months. Here I got my basics right. This stint lasted 3 years and it is here that I picked up my compositing skills.
Then i joined a boutique studio called doing a lot of commercial work. In my capacity as a Senior Artist at ‘The Fix’, I assisted with over a 100 ads doing modeling, animation, texturing and compositing. The wealth of experience was truly rich! At times I even found myself interacting with clients. This is what gave me the confidence to nerve myself to start off on my own. I have been self employed ever since then. I create computer generated commercials for advertisers and I also work as a consultant with an architectural visualisation firm.
I’ve worked in the industry since the last 13 years and there isn’t a moment that I haven’t really enjoyed!
Creating tributes, as I said earlier, started off as a hobby. Now, it is something I really enjoy doing! The process of bringing back people’s warmest and fondest moments is energizing. It brings back the spark in their lives! The look on my clients’ faces, their sincere emotions – these are things that go beyond monetary considerations.
